Return to Freedom provides a safe haven to more than 200 wild horses and burros, many of them representing rare and unique bloodlines. In this gallery we share with you beautiful images of our horses, taken by some very talented photographers and friends.

Photo Credits: Kimerlee Curyl has been photographing wild horses at Return To Freedom sanctuary since 2004. She has been able to integrate herself into their environment, capturing moments which define their unique and individual personalities and relationships. A dedicated horsewoman herself, her understanding of their response to movement and the world around them is reflected in the sensitivity of her photography.
